After being absolutely stunned by the musicians we headed of to an indoor rock climbing facility. We arrived there sometime around one thirty. It was great, every inch of this place was covered with walls to climb, boulder, place to slackline, and cargo rope to climb.
It has been a while since Gabe and I have both climbed and we thought we could still pass the required material so we could belay ourselves...wrong I couldnt remember how to tie the figure eight not and we couldnt figure out how to use there belaying devices which are completely different then what I have used.
Failing the test but still in high spirits we spent a good deal of time bouldering. We spent time playing follow the leader, climbing specific routes, or just seeing who could make it the farthest around corners.
Im sure we looked like idiots on the wall because Gabe and I dont know the first thing about climbing "correctly" but we made do. After spending enough time on the wall we went over on the slack line.
That was only the second time that I have slacklinned but it was fun. I only made it across a few time but that not really important. Gabe has quite good balance and has done it quite a bit. I worked with him helping him walk backwards on the line which turned out fairly well.
Next we moved to an empty section of the floor and worked on our handstand, cartwheels, head stands, round off, etc. It was just time for us to act like we were eight again. One word of advice is to not do a lot of head stands on wood floors because you get a huge soft/sore spot on your head the next day.
We went back through everything again and decided to call it a day after almost four hours. After that Gabe needed to return back to his house so I returned to my hostel. Quite hungry and in the need of the classic german bratwurst.
After satisfying my hunger I headed back to the hostel to enjoy a quite couple hours watching a soccer game before I went off to bed
