As i have been counting down these days until my departure and everyone keeps asking me if im getting nervous; that answer was always the same "No but im sure I will be." Yet now with barely one day left im still very far from nervous.
Today i took a day from packing and just sat and listened to a few records. It has taken my until now to realize why im not nervous. I need to give a big thanks everyone that i have crossed paths with.
Beautiful people come in all shape, forms, sizes, and colors. Its never about the clothes you wear, the car you drive, or the money that you have. Its about who you are as a human being and what your soul tells you to be. Away from clothing brands, hairstyles, and music trends are truly beautiful and unique people with their own paths in life, their own dreams that they must fulfill.
Everyone has to take their own footsteps and paths to find their dreams. Some return many times are return for good. Others will come back but will soon find themselves coming and going again but some may never return at all.
That's what i have come to realize and why im not nervous about the next step in my life. Its something that i want to do and i must do it. You should lead your lives following your footsteps, but when your life starts stepping on your footsteps, its time to take a step back.
